10th Anniversary Skate Jam
The 10th Anniversary Jubilee Skatepark Jam brought together an large enthusiastic crowd despite the rainy morning. With a lineup of bands, cash for tricks, and a vibrant atmosphere, the event celebrated a decade of the Jubilee Skatepark. A Vibrant Lineup: Bands and Skaters Unite
Kicking off at 1 pm with Erberts' electrifying tunes, the Skatepark came alive with energy. Skyscrapers took the stage at 2 pm, setting the tone for an unforgettable day. The Junior Skate Jam showcased young talents, impressing everyone with their tricks on the flat bank.
Contests, Cash for Tricks, and Sweet Treats
The last man-standing tick-tack contest was a hit with the kids, captivating the audience with nimble footwork and impressive moves. The atmosphere was awesome with cash for tricks and spot prizes from Yaxwax, HUF, and Surveillance for the best tricks and an impromptu power slide comp during a mid afternoon light short rain shower! Between competitions, everyone had a chance to indulge in refreshments and tasty street food from the ice cream and food vans.
Creative Souvenirs: T-Shirt Printing and Junior Fun
Iris and Dora hosted T-Shirt printing, where juniors expressed their creativity and took home unique mementos of the day.
Raffle and Prizes: With Awesome Prizes
The raffle had to win fantastic prizes from YakWax, Surveillance and Adventure Cycles including a BMX and Skateboards.
Music, Wheels, and Endless Fun
Throughout the day, skaters, BMX riders, scooter enthusiasts, and rollerbladers showcased their skills on the ramps, accompanied by a lively DJ set. Bloomfield's performance at 5 pm added an electrifying touch to the bowl session.
Embracing Collaboration: Vale Earth Fair Joins the Celebration
The event was made even more special by the collaboration with the Vale Earth Fair, enhancing the celebration with unity and shared love for music and skating.
